Thanks to the terrific and blazingly fast support of the plugin author I was able to get the “gallery in a post” thingie working. See the post below this one.
If you click on one of the pics it will come up larger on the screen as a layer on top of what you were viewing. Underneath this larger pic is a more detailed description of it. When you hover your mouse cursor over the larger picture right and left arrows appear near the edges of the picture. This allows you to click on the arrows to go forward and backwards in the group of pictures. When you reach either end the arrow for that direction does not appear. It’s really simple.
Tech stuff – the two WordPress plugins it takes to make this work are:
PhotoJAR and Lightbox

A friend of ours shared a nifty link with us. I think it deserves to be shared others 
Instead of just mentioning it in a blog post where it will eventually be buried by newer posts, I’ve placed it in the sidebar, that strip on the left that contains things that are always there. It is the 2nd link under the heading Offsite. It is a website called God’s Yellow Pages. Go there to find links to verses in the Bible that speak to specific situations that are listed in the Yellow Pages. Very handy! Enjoy!

Sorry for the lull in new entries. Fran and I have been extra busy with end-of-the-BSF-year “stuff”. I’m completely finished now and Fran just has a couple of meetings and some admin things to wrap up before the Matthew study is completed.
I’ve finally gotten the WordPress blogging software updated to the latest release. It has some new features behind the scenes that will hopefully improve the performance as well as maintenance. I took the opportunity to also put a new “skin” on TheBellSite while I was at it. I was going for something that looked more summery. What do you think?

Anyone using a photo sharing website that they are really wild about?
