You just gotta read the article linked below!
It (Tyson) teamed up with McDonald’s to launch the Chicken McNugget nationwide in 1983. Within one month McDonald’s became the number two chicken buyer in the country, behind KFC. The McNugget also transformed chicken processing. Today, Tyson makes most of its money from processed chicken, selling its products to 90 of the 100 largest restaurant chains. As for the health benefits, Chicken McNuggets have twice as much fat per ounce as a hamburger.

I’ve been a bachelor for a week now so I have been taking care of things that I don’t normally have to do. Anyway . . . . The typhoon came and has left. Our hometown, Taipei, was barely bothered. Lots of rain and some gusty winds was about all we got. No street flooding at all. However, the south part of the island was not as fortunate.  Many of you have already heard the news. The first link below has some really good coverage of the typhoon’s path through the Philippines, Taiwan, and on into China. It also has some really good photos. (HT to Amanda)

The only good news is that the water reservoirs in Taiwan that were almost empty are now all full.

Not too long ago I posted about the Worldwide Photo Walk in Taipei. Well, before we started a panoramic image was taken of all of the participants. Have you ever viewed one of the 360 degree photos that go all around a circle and even up above in the sky? Click this link: http://www.theodorekaye.com/pano/photowalk.html and you’ll see a really cool one. I’m in there too!

Also, if you’ll scroll down on this page: http://worldwidephotowalk.com/taipei-tp-tw/ you can see the entries in the Taipei section of the worldwide walk.

We are back in our own bed (AKA: The Cloud)! The working retreat was good. Much work and planning was accomplished and we were able to squeeze in some fun times also. Two of the days we went on outings but the rest of the time we were in meetings. The resort was pretty good by Asian standards, we found plenty of good food to eat, and took several strolls on the beach at sunset. I’ve put some of the pictures on Flickr. A teaser is below . . .
