I can’t resist linking to this photo album of Home Handy Man repairs. You’ve got to see it to believe it! Here’s what they call Ozark Engineering Enjoy! (Update: The link was moved – I’ve updated it 8/23/07)

I finally finished my latest lawyer/court/who-done-it. This was the first I’ve read by Jay Brandon. It wasn’t Christian fiction. It was ok, just a little slower than I like. The characters were well drawn though. I’d give Rules of Evidence 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Fran and I both had some really good experiences in the last week. I wanted to let you know what they were in case you might ever need something similar.

For me it was the dentist I’ve seen for some work while I was home. We have access to ok dentists in Taiwan but Fran had told me about the guy she saw last time we were home. He is a believer, a BSFer, and all round great dentist! If you need one I can’t recommend him highly enough. Give him a call.

After the last visit to the dentist I was looking to celebrate. I was hungry for some Greek food, maybe Gyro. This has been a quite difficult to find. However, one of Fran’s best friends, Sarah, recommended a place her and her husband, David, had enjoyed. I went and was very pleased. For good Greek food I now recommend:

Kostas Cafe
1050 West Park Blvd
(at Alma)
Plano  (just a little west of Central)

Fran is now singing the praises of a doctor who helped her out. She says that Dr. Casad is one of the friendliest and most caring gynecologists she has ever gone to for treatment.

I was just introduced to a new service for finding book bargains – booksprice.com. I found out about it from another blogger – The Missionary Geek. It is a really good way to find the best price for that book you need to get.

Through that service I found a new source for used books – Better World Books. After you have checked out this unique company click on through to their book store. Shipping is free in the US and only $3 to anywhere else in the world AND the books (used) are really cheap!

If you like books, you’ll love these two services.
