In Taipei, stores tend to group together by what they sell. Most retail stores are what we would call specialty stores; that is they carry only one type of product. There are a few department stores, but mostly it is one item type stores. Pet stores, shoe stores, stationary stores, etc. Guess what this street’s specialty is . . .
