Occasionally there’s a concert in the stadium at the university near our house. Last night I learned from my friend Sarah that the Bee Gee’s were in concert (actually it was only Robin Gibb). Sarah & I decided to walk around the track outside the stadium to listen to the “spill over sounds???. Dressed in our jogging/walking clothes, we headed for the tack. We could hear pretty well, but thought we would climb the outside stairs of the coliseum to listen a little closer. We hung around and tried to identify songs – actually the disco fever craze was never really my thing – and much beyond Sarah’s youth, but it was fun to go investigate. As a native Texan, I found this to be very interesting.

It is also curious that all but one of the non-white majority states are also border states; plus the fact that most of the ones that will join the ranks are also border states.

Well – I’ve done it! It is official. My round trip ticket for the USA is bought. I’ll be in the US from Sept 30 until Oct 16. I can hardly wait
The only downside is I am traveling solo
