Bill Maher, host of HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher, says that all Christians are crazy and are unenlightened because of their faith. Maher made the comments on MSNBC’s Scarborough Country.
Maher said: “We are a nation that is unenlightened because of religion…I think that religion stops people from thinking. I think it justifies crazies. I think that flying planes in a building was a faith-based initiative. I think religion is a neurological disorder.”

…can’t say it gets my goat. Bill Mahr is an idiot. His show is retarded. I’ve seen it a few times, and each time pointed out even more than the previous time how stupid he is. I would say I have no clue why his show is so popular, but we all know that most of the American population is clueless as well — hence the popularity of the rest of the crap on TV (reality shows, lame sitcoms, etc)
