The weather here is really helping us get into the spirit. Cold and rainy. Of course you have to understand a term like cold is relative. My Wunderground link says it is 61 in Taipei now. I have on a light jacket. This morning on the way to language study I rode the scooter (not raining at the time) and it was pretty nippy. When I was finished and rode home it was drizzling and even cooler. Most of the locals are wearing hoods, scarves, and gloves now ![]()
I just chased a link to the cover of Newsweek to see what they have to say about Christianity. I guess the major magazines want to appeal to the Christmas spirit also. It says that 79% of Americans believe in the virgin birth of Jesus and 77% believe the entire biblical Christmas story is historically accurate. If that is true why don’t 77-79% of Americans live like they believe it? Wouldn’t you think if the creator of the universe supernaturally put Jesus on the earth, there was a purpose for it? Hmmmmmm . . . .

I had a strange dream about you last night. You came back home to spend one week with me before heading to Taiwan with Paige and I for our Christmas vacation. It’s like you came to pick us up or something. Even stranger was the fact that Mom didn’t come with you and that OneStop brought you over.
Weird.
It’s easier to say you believe something and even think you believe it than to live it. The HS power to live it is the proof of the belief.
