This morning we went to get our flu shot and cholesterol checked. We have a different strain of flu shots here than in US, so they are easily attained. Jackie and I took advantage of getting on some scales while at the Dr’s office, and we were both flabergasted at the outcome of our new eating habits! We were so surprised, that we think we need to find different scales to weigh on just to confirm. We continue to be encouraged. Now, if only the cholesterol is lowered too. We should find out next week.
Last night we attended part 1 of a 4 part Seminar by author Philip Yancey. Last night was good – I’m sure it takes twice as long since since it is being translated. The church was full of Chinese beleivers from all over the city. We recieved a free copy of one of his books, however, it’s a Chinese edition. We will give them to our friends.
